Old Music (Halil Bey Mosque)

Known under this new name, formarly the Mosque of Halil Bey, it is itself a work of early 20th century, but also a palimpsest of the history of Kavala: during its restoration, an early basilica, with meso-Byzantine and post-Byzantine layers, was brought to light and can be glimpsed through its glass floor.
